What is a 52-week cookie? How does this benefit me?
A 52-week cookie means that when you send a visitor to us, the time of the sale can occur anytime between the first visit and 52-weeks afterwards. This allows for extended sales cycles, 30 day free trials, and ample time for potential customers to get to know Market Data before making the decision to purchase.
As long as the purchase happens within 52 weeks of the customer’s initial visit to Market Data, you’ll earn a commission for the sale.
40% Revenue Share? For The Life of the Customer?
Yes and yes! As long as the customer stays with Market Data, you’ll get paid your revenue share. There is no maximum cap to your earnings.
What about refunds and chargebacks?
Customer refunds and chargebacks are deducted from your payout. Additionally, there is a $15 chargeback fee from our credit card processor that we pass on to you if any of your sales generate chargebacks. We may also hold your payments for review for up to 6 months if the traffic you send us has a history of generating chargebacks.
Refunds and chargebacks usually result from deceptive marketing practices (i.e. affiliates over-promising with respect to features or performance). Our overall chargeback rate is very low and our 30 day free trial offer allows customers to make a full trial of our service before paying. This ensures chargebacks and refunds are minimal as long as no deceptive marketing practices are used.
What marketing techniques are prohibited?
You cannot use unsolicited spam email or any other marketing technique that could be considered deceptive. You cannot promise your audience features or benefits that we do not actually offer.
Paid advertising campaigns are allowed only after manual review and approval. Any commissions made through use of paid ads on Google, Meta, or other platforms will not be paid unless previously approved.
Can I promote Market Data internationally?
Absolutely, but keep in mind that Market Data is a U.S. platform. Although we welcome traffic from all over the world, our product offerings are focused on U.S. markets. Unless your audience is investing in U.S. markets, your efforts to convert international visitors may not result in an acceptable conversion rate
When doing promotions internationally, ensure that all promotional materials and communications are compliant with the local laws and regulations of the countries you are targeting.
